Asset Lifecycle Management’s Fleet Management solution, Fleet,  enables effective support for an organisation’s fleet and mobile assets.  The Fleet system manages a comprehensive vehicle and plant register of all major and minor items from light or heavy fleet items to mobile plant such as brush cutters and jack hammers.

Fleet asset lifecycle management is provided to support:

Equipment Details

A full register of all vehicles and plant equipment is maintained to provide timely and appropriate maintenance and review of assets.  Extensive equipment detail categories including description, operation, maintenance, location and future needs is kept.  Full plant descriptors in user-defined fields such as VIN, make, model, body type, fuel type, registration numbers, etc is provided.

Work Orders

Work Orders can be entered manually or can be automatically generated by the Fleet system:

• User defined conditions can be specified to trigger scheduled servicing or inspections.
• The fuel management module records fuel transactions and odometer readings to generate routine maintenance.

Full repair and maintenance history reports can be generated for each vehicle, vehicle type or class.

Fleet Asset Management

• Hiring and billing modules allow flexible charging and billing cycles, facilitating the management of long term hire and salary packaged vehicles.
• Vehicle usage can be managed across the organization to ensure optimum usage of equipment.
• Reallocation and disposal time can be determined based on usage or other predetermined factors, assisting with budget forecasts.

Financials Integration

The accounts module encompasses internal charging, and integration to other Receivables applications for external charging.  Reports of detailed costs and revenue are recorded and generated for each vehicle and plant item including material costs, labour costs and other associated costs.
