Mobile Despatch is an add on module to the Fleet Management Product.  It supports the planning and despatch of Field Work orders to In Vehicle Devices.

Working with consortium partners, ALM can provide a complete end to end work order dispatch, vehicle allocation, routing, and tracking solution:

• Integration with ALM’s Asset and Works Management product allows scheduled Work Orders to be sent to an optimization engine to allocate fleet resources and generate routes.
• Work Orders are dispatched to vehicles for display on a variety of in vehicle devices.
• In vehicle navigation provides clear direction to each job site.
• GPS tracking of vehicles allows Fleet Planners to have a ‘birds eye’ view of the disposition of their fleet and the ability to react immediately to events using the most appropriate vehicle in the vicinity.
• Vehicle usage information such as mileage is captured automatically.
• Work Order status can be dynamically updated in the field through the in vehicle devices.
